That just means you are using the right browser most likely. The spell checking button only works in IE, but Firefox has a built in spell checker for any text box.

I noticed the pics for Monroe are mostly old or down and the turtle creek ones are somewhat un-clear. Is there anything special you need to change these? I play both frequently and can take pics for you. I think the pics for all our courses are a major highlight of this site for out of town players and guests.

I simply need a full set of pictures. If you take them I'll update the site. You may want to wait until more leaves are on the trees. Try to make the pictures consistent by taking them from tees. Thanks for the offer!

That is usually the responsibility of the hosting person/s for the event. If you let me know the specifics of the Harbin Friday Doubles, I'll put it up. Time, $, format, etc.

I went ahead and put up what I saw earlier in the thread. If you want something different, let me know, but this should work for now.

The question was raised how to update your avatar. You click on "my profile", then click modify avatar. Clear your current avatar then upload a new one.

Believe me this sounds much easier than it is. Dan probably spent many hours on that. Thanks Dan.

A big thanks to Dan Hollingshead for all he does with the club site and CCS results, etc. We take so much for granted sometimes and forget there's someone behind the scenes doing all the work until something doesn't work like we want it to and then we let them know about it.

Please excuse the mess. I'm updating the site skin at the moment. I may take me a few days to clean up on the little bits.

Thank you. I think I've worked out all the major problems. If you see anything that looks like a problem let me know.
Also, while you're at it you should all switch to Firefox, Chrome, a text editor, anything but Microsoft's Internet Explorer.
Edit: Also the front page articles now supports comments and will be the replacement for the mailed newsletter. Articles are soon to come.

Where did the signatures go?

Disabled, there were some animated pictures in use that took up too much real estate when scrolling through threads. There was no easy way to prevent this other than disable the signatures.

Wasn't trying to point any fingers just trying to make the web administration easier. Heh, sorry if that ruined a gross out competition.

I think the "Dancing Bear" falls into the "grandfather" rule (IT was used before the rule was put into place.) And should be allowed to stay, it was to awesome, and i stopped to watch everytime i scrolled by it! Long Live the Dancing Bear, if you ask me! Can we just put it on the home page?

Is there any way to pm someone or e-mail them if you don't know their user name?

You could email the webadmin the information you do have and we could see if they are part of the board.
