Thanks Brutal. I appreciate that. It really helps to be around good people playing disc golf. I do appreciate all the help from all of you on Saturday. It made things go very smooth - and I like that.
Registration for the Ice Bowl Series Finale at Lincoln Ridge is up. I really would appreciate as many pre-registrations as possible. It will make things a lot easier on all of us. Current Registration List is also up.
NOTE: Being an XC-Tier Charity tournament the non-member fees are waived so you don't need to be a PDGA member or even current to play, and the $2 PDGA event fee is donated to the tournament charity - Fairhaven.

I randomly saw the 2009 ice bowl trophies in our photo gallery. I wish more series events gave away trophies.

I think you just may win the overall, if you show up, Gary.

NatiBuckeye - not having trophies this year. We take out $2 per entry for the Series and it often doesn't justify prize$ AND trophies.

We have 21 pre-registered as of now. Thanks to all who do pre-register. It really does help. Pre-registration will be taken down sometime Friday evening. So, if you're thinking of registering online do so soon so you don't miss it. This is an XC-Tier tourney for our charity Fairhaven Rescue Mission. An XC-Tier has lower payouts than a regular C-Tier. The PDGA donates the normal $2 PDGA fee as long as the tourney is also donating a portion. The donation to Fairhaven, Ace Fund and $2 Series fee is included in the entry. For those who have played in any of the previous 3 Ice Bowls the payout will be similar to those. I am fairly confident we are going to make our goal of $3200 this year. Thanks and I hope to see you on Saturday.

Ok, I see I had only set our goal at $2750 this year I guess. We ARE going to make that and may make $3200 also!

All right George. Got you registered. Glad to have you aboard. We currently have 29 pre-registered. Here's the Current Registration List Looks like we will be playing the "winter 20" both rounds. This is holes 1-13, skip over to the left and play 18-24. This skips all the creek holes.

Geez Dan! Lookit all them baggers coming in from out of town & crashing our Rec party! Thanks a lot for making this a sanctioned event. Just kidding. The more the merrier for Fairhaven (welcome guys, thanks for coming!). I hope the donation gets huge! ...Guess we'll just have to play better, huh? Looking forward to a day at Lincoln Ridge without rain. Or hail.... ;)

Thanks brutal and thanks to everyone who helped make this year's Ice Bowl Krazy Series a huge success. I will get results and a summary up as soon as possible. I'm busy the next couple of days but will get it up when I can. A big thanks to Troy, Jeff, Rod and anyone else who helped out - it's great to have such great help. Oh, and Steve Huebner - guess what? You left too early. You won the Discatcher Sport raffle!

REALLY!!!! I was just kind of spent by the end. After 3 OB'S and ton of terrible shots during the second round(since I am not that great anyway it kind of got to me more than it should have) I decided to head out. The thing is I never win anything so i thought what the heck I am not winning anything.!! I can say that makes what was a bad day a good one and I will stop by the shop to pick it up monday.
Thanks for a great day of disc golf and for a great tournament!!

Ok, took a little while to get everything together but finally got the final tally for our contribution to Fairhaven Rescue Mission from the GCFDA's Ice Bowl Krazy Series and presented it to Dave Hammers, CEO of Fairhaven today - $3414.50!!!!
A big thanks to everyone who participated, pledged, donated money, time, energy to the cause. We did a great job this year.
