hey looking for a partner for the KY state doubles. I want to be a compliment to someones game as well as them being a compliment to mine. I have asked a few people and just not found the right person. winning is important but more looking to have a good time. I have had a few hot rounds for my level there at the beast called idlewild so if anyone just above my skill level would like to join me it would be much appreciate call me BOB at 513-923-6090. I know I am a amatuer level but come on guys I can play. I am sure someone wants to play as my partner.

Never played in a doubles before and very interested in trying it out at this event. So, how's the rounds gonna work? Alternate shot, best shot? Just curious. Anyone know yet?

Thanks, I was looking more for course layout. Should've been more specific. Is it 18 or 24 holes? Will it be regular, relaxed or extreme OB?

It will be 2 rounds of 24. Long Long Long Long Long and extreme OB's!
Field will be capped at 48 Teams.

We still have a few fund raiser discs available(glow t bird, t bird plus and firebird) for sale here at the nati. Proceeds go towards payout. Out of 22 sold so far only 2 are in the pro division and 1 isn't playing. Help your division out by purchasing one before October 6. Thanks

Lets move some of those intermediate teams up to advanced. No better time to play up than during a doubles tourney!! 17 teams of intermediate out of 25 total teams? You only get to play longs if you are playing Adv/Pro I believe.

I would love to play against you Dave, but my partner is 910 rated and has only played DG once in the last 5 years. That one time was at the Hambrick where he DID NOT EVEN CASH in intermediate. Don't stand much of a chance against the 2x world putting Champion with a recreational partner.

An update on the course. I am adding a new tee pad for holes C and E and new pin location for C.
C's new tee is across the street and pond and will measure around 520 to the new pin location. The new tee for E will shorten the hole and take the water out of the pic. Since there is such a big field of intermediate players I may have them play shorts the first round to speed up play. If it goes well then they can play the longs. Everyone else plays the longs both rounds. Course looks great, thanks to boone county.

They will be ready by Thursday if the weather cooperates. FYI, there is a cross country meet at Idlewild this afternoon and they are on part of the disc golf course, mainly 1,10,and18 so that part of the course will be closed or unplayable. Hopefully they won't do too much damage. I contacted boone county and let them know about reseeding we did on 10.
Does anyone know who has the score ports. We will need both of them.
