On Sunday Oct17(Bengals bye week) The Nati is sponsoring the "Birdie Bash" at Mt Airy.  It is a combination customer appreciation and fun way to spend the day playing disc golf.  We all know how frustrating it can be to play Mt Airy so we're making every hole birdiable.  15 holes will be added to the existing 18 to make it a total of 33 holes and each one is deucable. Can you say "Winton Woods".  Three divisions, Pros, Advanced, Recreational.  For $5.00 per round you can play as many times as you want starting at noon.  Best scores at the end of the day win cash or product.  Free hot dogs/food and drinks will be available all day.  Bengals are guaranteed not to lose so come celebrate with a round or two of disc golf. Ace fund is optional and seperated by division(so ams won't have to compete with the pros).

Just a small change. It's called Birdie Bash because only birdies will count not the score like I posted above. So if you three putt it won't count against you(except that you didn't get a birdie). Most birdies in your division wins etc... Aces will count as 2 birdies. Free food and drinks will be available all day.

Hope to see a whole lot of birdies and aces today. Starts at Noon. and yes there is some cross country race being held throughout the park, they told us they should be done before noon, so we shall see. Possible points for hitting runners, moving targets are tougher, 3 points?

Hey, I was one of those runners! Take it easy on them. Running 16 or 32 miles of trails on Mt Airy hills is hard enough without dodging discs. Hole #4 and part of #5 are  the only fairways we ran through though.

Much fun, Great turnout, Great food and many birdies and two aces (Cyrus and Chad). Thanks to Fred and the Nati for hosting, and to all those behind the scenes doing the work.

Who won the Am Ace funds? Which is what I was asking Fred about when, Chad, so Chad-like yelled, "shut-up!", at me.

Glad to hear everyone had a good time, surprised there weren't more aces out there.
Talking with Jason about next year, we will have an earlier start time to allow peeps to get more rounds in.

Score one for The Nati Players. Pretty sure this years Birdie Bash doubled in size.
Glad everyone enjoyed the course that Adam and I layed out.
Congrats to all the winners and to Chad and Cyrus for trying to make this the Ace Bash!

My apologies for the screw ups on the scores.  I believe everyone was compensated for the position that they finished. Some times it gets a bit over whelming running these events but we do the best that we can with what God has given us.

Bump for The Nati Disc Golf Birdie Bash at Mt Airy today. Play Mt Airy without a single bogie for the first time. (Or third if you've played the two other Bashes)
