Yes, there are Ace Fund Doubles at Banklick today at 6:00 as always. However, due to the holidays, Christmas Eve and New Years Eve falling on Wednesdays this year, there will be no Ace Fund Doubles at Banklick on 12/24/08 or 12/31/08. Come on back 1/7/09 and bring in the New Year. Merry Christmas and a very safe and happy New Year to all from the Wednesday Doubles at Banklick.

Ive played there a few times and it has been a blast.. I'm wondering if any of you know Cyrus furhman. I wen there with him a few weeks ago and i left by bag in his car. I lost his number and hopefully he will see this on here and catch up with me. I play golf 5 times a week when it's nice out. But my friends wont go out unless it's at least 60 degress. It was nice to me someone with the same mentality that when its cold you can always go golfing. so pm me cyrus or if anyone could get a hold of him let him know chris from hammacher is looking for him. I really aprreciate any one who tris to help. I hate playing with my backup discs!

Tape a few feet of brightly colored ribbon to them and or put blue/red chalk on them (the dics) so you can see where they go in the snow. Ribbons don't affect flight very much and it will leave something above the snow that you can see. Guess this post came a little too late to help out for tonight, but I was at work earlier.

Oh yes, it goes on no matter what. Jeff will always be there and the rule is "if two people are there, the Ace Fund goes on that night.

Mike, yes, the Star-Stamped First Run Grooves just arrived about 15 minutes ago. Got a good number of 165-167g weight in for those who like lighter weights. The payout is posted on the results page and it looks like you got $10 in merch.

Listen, I've had a few, uh, beverages... and I'm not going to try to dig thru the forum right now. Can sombody tell me what the league deal is for the spring? Which course, which night, singels or doubles.
At my current yob, it looks like I've got nights open every night, so me thinks I'll get into some leauge events this season. What's about to start up and who do I C to start?

Here's the information about the actual "LEAGUE" events: www.cincinnatidiscgolf.com/Events/LeagueEvents.aspx I think it's too late to get in on the Spring League but you can get in a few rounds for determining your handicap, etc for the Summer League.
As for other events during the week:
Wednesday Night Doubles at Banklick - draw doubles, cost =$7; $5 goes to the night's payout and $2 goes to the Ace Fund that carries over until someone hits it; it gets capped at $200, so one gets building while that one is ready to be hit. Also, this week, I believe you will have the opportunity to purchase 1 mulligna for $1 and this goes to support the Bluegrass Open tournament 6/6-7/09. Draw is at 6 pm - everybody puts in a mini and you draw for partners; play is best shot.
Thursday Bag Tags at Mt. Airy is singles; cost is $2 if you have a 2009 Bluegrass Open Bag Tag; tags cost $10 and go to support the Bluegrass Open. You play for the lowest tag and bragging rights. We all like to brag - no matter what it is.
Usually Tuesdays has an Ace Fund at the course for that month's Course Challenge. Haven't seen the information about that. Maybe someone else has it.
Wednesdays has draw doubles at Turtle Creek I believe. Someone else may give more info on that one.
Don't know if it's started yet, but Friday doubles at Harbin.
That's what I remember off the top of my head. Others can contribute what they know. So you have a lot of nice options to get out there and play. Have fun!!
Oh and also on the front page you can see Weekly Events.

Now that daylight savings is over, I think they play all of em. When they did glo dubs, they left out 5,6 13-16. So you're not going to Monroe?

Jeff needs someone to run Doubles at LR/Banklick this week. I can't commit to it just yet. If someone could do it he'd appreciate it. He can drop the essentials off at the shop if someone can pick them up. Either call me or post on here if you can do it.
